Make sure when you book your storage you ask questions about your room. You may be getting the 50 square feet you have paid for but some rooms can be 10 feet high for example making packing efficiently hard. Some rooms also have support beams or ventilation ducts which are worth knowing about because these can also present problems when packing and no discount is given. A lot of these facilities are massive warehouses. It may be worth asking how far your room from where you can park your van/lorry to unload. Trust me this can add considerable time to your loading and unloading.
